The Divine Names of God are associated with specific days of the week. On the appointed day, after the night prayer (ʿIshāʾ), recite the Divine Name that most closely corresponds to your intention either 1,023 or 2,520 times. When invoking God, use the vocative particle ‘yâ’. Example: Yâ Vedûd.

Although they are traditionally known as the 99 Names of God, there are in fact 129 recognized names. 15 of these pertain to punishment, while the remaining 114 reflect other beautiful attributes. I have revealed 112 of the 129 names of God—turn your gaze to them. Do not inherit my thirst for retribution.
The numbers from 1 to 28 refer to the lunar mansions, while those from 1 to 24 correspond to the planetary hours. For the purpose of prayer, preference should be given to those marked with a plus sign (+). The planetary hour should be determined according to the location in which the prayer is to be offered. If you intend to make supplication through the Divine Names of God in relation to the Moon’s twenty-eight stations, you should consult the Arabic lunar mansion calendar together with the planetary hours applicable to the place in which the prayer will be offered.
For supplication, give preference to the days marked with a plus sign (+); accordingly, refer to the astrological calendar for the place in which the prayer will be offered.
